DC Comics Announces New Creative Team for Justice League United

DC Comics announced that Jeff Parker and Travel Foreman will take over “Justice League United” beginning with the series’ eleventh issue.

This July, Parker and Foreman will assemble a new team of heroes and villains that consists of Alanna Strange, Stargirl, Equinox, Mera, Poison Ivy, Swamp Thing and Etrigan. The series picks up just as “Convergence” wraps up. In the new run, this eclectic team will try to prevent another cosmic catastrophe before it begins.

“Justice League United” was created by Jeff Lemire and Mike McKone, debuting in April 2014 with a #0 issue that boasted a team made up of Adam Strange, Animal Man, Equinox, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Stargirl and Supergirl. Lemire will depart the title after writing the tenth issue.

Parker’s past credits include “Batman ’66” and “Aquaman.” Foreman has worked on titles like “Animal Man” and “Birds of Prey.”

“Justice League” #11 arrives at retailers on July 8th.
