George Perez Leaves Superman

George Perez has reportedly stepped down as both writer and breakdown artist on DC Comics’ flagship title Superman.

O.M.A.C. co-writer and artist Keith Giffen and Justice League International writer Dan Jurgens will then take over from Superman #7 onwards.

Perez’s departure from the title marks the third creative shake-up in DC’s ‘New 52’, after J.T. Krul’s upcoming exit from Green Arrow and John Rozum’s decision to step down from Static Shock

The company’s relaunched Superman line also consists of Grant Morrison’s Action Comics, Michael Green and Mike Johnson’s Supergirl and Scott Lobdell’s Superboy.
