Motion Poster for Conan the Barbarian Released
Lionsgate has debuted the new, Frank Frazetta-inspired motion poster for Conan the Barbarian, coming to 3D and 2D theaters on August 19. The studio has also launched the official website, which features the same animation.
Directed by Marcus Nispel, the fantasy action adventure stars Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Leo Howard, Ron Perlman, Said Taghmaoui and Rose McGowan.
Seeing this image is making me want to see this movie more and more… I really hope they live up to the hype. I’ve been a fan of the original Conan movies and yes I do know they haven’t aged well but I do think it will do the right thing by the source material!

Cool! Loin cloth is a little long, but a nice “mountain o skulls”
I’ve been in such a Conan mood for the past few months! It’s strange. I watched a Frazetta documentary (had no idea he had been living in E. Stroudsburg which is driving distance from me). Then I got the chance to model for Dorian Vallejo whose famous father Boris is as much responsible for barbarian/fantasy art as Frazetta.
