Countdown to Halloween: Dave Wachter Cthulhu
This is the first image that I don’t own but Dave Wachter has allowed me to post it here. I was first pointed this image out by Amber Love who is one of the contributors here as well as running her own cosplaying site Amber Unmasked and I’m glad that she did point it out.
This was done by Dave at the Pittsburgh Indy Comics Expo this year. Whoever was able to pick up this peice has something that I would love if I could afford to get more art at the moment!
Cthulhu Mythos has been something I have loved since I discovered H. P. Lovecraft back in high school which unfortunately we didn’t get to study but I was brought into that world and loved the idea of these creatures from beyond the world who could induce madness and create cults or cross breed with humans and all other sorts of influence on mankind.
Going from Lovecraft I had been introduced to Brian Lumley’s Cthulhu which just expanded my love of the world.
Anyway here’s the wonderful image by Dave.
