Countdown to Halloween: Death Dealer

How can you go passed what Frank Frazetta created way back when with Death Dealer. I remember seeing some of the Frazetta images in art books when I was a kid and wandering through book stores but back then I didn’t realise which artist was which and I just knew what I liked.

From there I was a big fan of the Verotik series with art by Simon Bisley, Liam Sharp and Arthur Suydam and written by Glenn Danzig. While the story was very generic I still loved the squarebound issues and still go back and read them today.

A couple of years ago we also were graced with a return of the Death Dealer to comics with it coming out from Image with the new Frazetta line which was putting some great stories for all of the artwork that Frank has done. If you want to get a series on Death Dealer this would be the one to get and with the slipcased hard cover you can’t go wrong.

Now to today’s image. This is another from Buz Hasson from The Living Corpse which I again won from the old Comic Monsters website which again blew me away when I saw it in person. This one Graces the wall over my desk and is one of my favorite pieces from Buz. If you can you should try to get some art from him if you see him at a con.
