Police say Thundercats Writer Murdered

Police in Florida have confirmed that missing ThunderCats writer Stephen Perry is the victim of a homicide, The Tampa Tribune reports.

Fears for the scribe’s welfare began to mount on May 16 after his van was discovered close to a severed arm. More human remains were later found in a nearby dumpster.

“The Zephyrhills Police Department is now investigating the disappearance of Stephen J. Perry as an apparent homicide,” said investigating officer Rob McKinney. “Laboratory results on evidence are still pending at this time.”

Perry’s flatmates, James and Roxanne Davis, were also reported missing around the same time as the writer. They have since been found and arrested on unrelated charges, but remain “persons of interest” in the case.

Prior to his disappearance, Perry had been battling bladder cancer and struggling to find work. He had been receiving aid from the Hero Initiative charity to help him support his son Leo and pay for his medical expenses.
