Kick-Ass Contest Offers Chance For Comic Cameo

If you’ve ever wanted to make a comic book cameo, a new “Kick-Ass” contest from Lionsgate could give you that chance.

Vistors to www.IWillKickAss.com can upload a picture of themselves, created a superhero using various stock costume items, and then submit it for a chance to a cameo in Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s sequel comic.

While I’m pretty sure ol’ “Captain Splash Page” isn’t going to win (and will probably haunt your nightmares for weeks), I’m also pretty sure you can do a much better job, readers — so give it a shot and let me know how it turns out.

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a superhero? Like a REAL superhero? Well, now your dream can come true!

On behalf of Lionsgate, we’re excited to announce the launch of the KICK-ASS Become a Superhero Contest!

Visit IWillKickAss.com to create your own superhero and win a cameo in Kick-Ass 2, the comic! The creators of the Kick-Ass comic, Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., will choose the winning kick-ass superhero!

Here’s how to start kicking ass:

1. Upload your picture, connect with Facebook or use your webcam to capture your superhero pose.

2. Add weapons, helmets, masks and superhero gear to create your best superhero.

3. Choose your superhero name and identity.

4. Encourage your friends to vote for your superhero!

The ten superheroes with the most votes will make it to the final round. One winner will be chosen by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. and nine runner-ups will win Kick-Ass prize packs.
