Now that the cat is out of the bag, Bill Murray has opened up to talking about his role in Columbia Pictures’ Ghostbusters III. The stipulation? “I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost,” Murray told Mail Online confirming that he will in fact be returning (assuming the movie ever gets off the ground). “I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.” As reported here on Bloody Disgusting, Ivan Reitman will return to direct with Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver all rumored to be returning. Penned by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, the new flick follows a new breed of Ghost Busters who are passed the torch (one being a female).
