Kevin Smith has hinted that he is working on a project for DC Comics.
The filmmaker announced on his Fatman On Batman podcast that he is working on “something top secret” with DC’s chief creative officer Geoff Johns.
Smith is no stranger to the DC Universe, having written Green Arrow and Batman in the past, as well as handling scripting duties on Tim Burton’s canceled Superman Lives film.
The Clerks director claimed in a previous interview that he turned down the opportunity to work on the publisher’s Before Watchmen project.
Johns, who recently concluded an eight-year run on Green Lantern, described the mystery project as “super fun”.
Smith’s Fatman on Batman podcasts are available to listen to on his Smodcast website.
