Starting Saturday, September 1st and running through Monday, December 31st, Top Cow will be holding a Talent Hunt to find two new writers and two new artists to team up on two new projects. We’ll provide you with the full details once they are posted. According to Top Cow’s Facebook page, from an August 5th post, they will be posting all the details by tomorrow, September 1st on their website and via Twitter (and presumably Facebook).

So look for a full update from us right here on Comic Related tomorrow. Until then, get geared up and ready to write or draw, this could be your chance to break in!

Here’s the original press release sent out after Comic Con:

Image Comics and Top Cow Productions will be embarking on a brand new Talent Search to find two new writers and two new artists. Since its beginnings, Top Cow has always cultivated new talent, breaking in and training fresh creators including Michael Turner, David Finch, Joe Benitez, Mike Choi, Eric Basaldua, Francis Manapul, Tyler Kirkham, Stjepan Sejic, and Kenneth Rocafort among many, many others. The last Top Cow Talent Search discovered Michael Broussard… who’s next?

Beginning in August 2012, writers will be asked to submit a pitch document and sample script pages for a stand-alone Tom Judge story based on a property document that Top Cow will provide. The story cannot feature any other characters in the Top Cow Universe and cannot tie into the ongoing ARTIFACTS storyline by Ron Marz and Stjepan Sejic.

Artists will submit sample pages based on a script that will be provided by Top Cow featuring Tom Judge. Artists are encouraged to provide pencils and inks, as well as colors, if possible.

Top Cow President Matt Hawkins (CYBER FORCE) will embark on a tour of conventions and comic shops to offer feedback on samples before they are officially submitted. Aspiring writers and artist are encourage to come and get one-on-one feedback in order to improve their samples before submitting.

Fans must submit their samples to Top Cow’s community site The Barn between December 1st – 31st, 2012. Top Cow fans will be able to comment and discuss artwork before Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins pick the two winners.
