The Ninjettes
The Ninjettes has been announced by Dynamite Entertainment.
The new series is a spinoff from Garth Ennis’s Jennifer Blood, which debuted in February this year.
Ninjettes is written by Al Ewing, who will also succeed Ennis on Jennifer Blood. Artwork will be provided by Eman Casallos, with covers by Admira Wijaya and Johnny Desjardins.
“I am proud of Jennifer Blood’s success (and gore),” said Dynamite president and publisher Nick Barrucci.
“I am extremely excited to have Al on board, and for The Ninjettes and Jennifer Blood being his first writing assignments in the United States! Look for Al’s star to rise in the near future!”
The storyline reveals the origin on the Ninjettes, how they met their demise, and the consequences of their downfall.
The Ninjettes #1 arrives in stores in February, 2012.
