Rebooting Batman films. Wait, what?

Based on the info in the link below, Christopher Nolan is already planning to reboot Batman after the third film. Really? It seems film properties are being reimagined as we watch them. When’s the reboot of the Expendables coming?

I suspect the subtext language here is that none of the cast can/will/wants to be back. It makes sense. Christian Bale just punched out an Oscar™ for “The Fighter” (well earned). Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are older than the talking pictures. That doesn’t leave many members of the Batman ensemble left. A reboot (gulp) actually makes sense.

Oh, and a Justice League film (to compete with the forthcoming Avengers franchise, of course).
