Farewell Eric Martin R.I.P
For those who didn’t know Eric Martin, he was a Comic Podcaster working on shows such as Comics Playground, DC Noise and Geek Brunch. He was an avid comic reader, always ready for a chat about comics and great with his family.
Loosing Eric is going to be a great loss to the community and he will be sorely missed.
The following was posted on Eric Martin’s Facebook page:
My name is Michael Martin, I am Eric’s brother. I hate to pass this information so informally but I didn’t know any other way to reach many of Eric’s friends. My brother Eric died yesterday (Nov 18th) in his sleep from a massive heart attack. I dont have any information regarding his arrangements but you can all rest assured his wishes are being carried out.
My condolences go out to his family and if there is anything I can do feel free to ask.

Oh I swear I’m gonna miss this guy. There was so much coming his way.
I think it was last year since it was from his facebook page. I didn’t want to use the same one Derek did and that one seemed to fit.
He’s going to be missed by me as well
I didn’t know he had gotten his hair cut so short. He enjoyed it being long. I guess he did it for job interviews. It looks like he’s saying “Well, whatcha gonna do?”
Farewell to a fellow West Virginian and comicbook fan. Although I didn’t know him that well we did talk about the different LCS’s in the area
My thoughts are with the family
Alan – I’ve never had to cut my hair for jobs but I’ve never been after a job where I’d have to do that… But I agree with the “whatcha gonna do?” attitude… if you need to do it to get somewhere then you do it.
Chad – We used to talk over the blackberry Comic Readers group and on twitter… I wish I had met him in person but being all the way down here in Australia doesn’t help!
