If you’re wondering why I’ve posted the image above, the reason is two-fold. The first reason is to self-advertise the comics that PKD Media has self-published in the span of a year.

The second reason has more importance to it.

Brad Milyo, Co-Host of the Half Hour Wasted podcast has a daughter (Ashli) who is part of a high-school Drill Team in Texas that was recently nominated to go to New York to be a part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

However, she needs $1,400.00 by September 10th in order to go and participate in the experience. Brad has started to sell-off his collectibles, work extra hours, and whatever else he has to do to make sure that his daughter gets to live this dream.

And PKD Media wants to help Ashli live that dream as well.

This is what I’m going to do. Through September 5th, PKD Media will give 55% of its profits from sales of the three books listed above that are available at www.indyplanet.com to the Milyo family so that Ashli can go to New York and be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade celebration with her fellow Drill Team members.

By purchasing a copy of Mercury & The Murd: The Collected Edition, Exo-1 & The Rock Solid Steelbots, or PKD Media Presents: Vol. 1 you can help contribute towards a good cause.

I’m not forcing you to buy a book. If you want to help, that’s cool. If not, I understand. Times are tough for many right now.

This isn’t about me, this isn’t about PKD Media. This is about helping others. Period.

If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below. I’ll get back in touch with you as soon as I can.

More Mercury & The Murd to come tomorrow. Peace and good times.

-Shawn
