Last we heard from the “Jonah Hex” camp, director Jimmy Hayward’s adaptation of the gunslinger-fueled comic book series was headed back to the set for reshoots. While the need for reshoots isn’t anything to set off alarms (many films do the same at one point or another), a new batch of photos from the 10-day shoot might be cause for a little excitement — excitement of the Megan Fox variety, that is.
The “Jennifer’s Body” actress appears in many of the photos alongside Jonah Hex himself, Josh Brolin (who appears to be sporting a thick mustache, for some reason). Both Brolin and Fox can be seen in full period costumes for the Western-themed film, which puts the former confederate soldier turned bounty hunter at odds with a wealthy plantation owner played by John Malkovich.
We’ve posted one of the photos here, but the full gallery is available over at SpoilerTV. Check ‘em out — if only to see what Hex would look like with a sweet ’stache.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, Bill Murray has opened up to talking about his role in Columbia Pictures’ Ghostbusters III. The stipulation? “I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost,” Murray told Mail Online confirming that he will in fact be returning (assuming the movie ever gets off the ground). “I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.” As reported here on Bloody Disgusting, Ivan Reitman will return to direct with Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver all rumored to be returning. Penned by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, the new flick follows a new breed of Ghost Busters who are passed the torch (one being a female).
As we all saw appear on twitter Warren Ellis has send some more pages of Fell over to Ben Templesmith so it seems sooner for all of us to get some of the Fell goodness.
As they said on twitter:
Warren Ellis: just shot six pages of FELL 10 over to you
Ben Templesmith: Oh you tease me sir.
Warren Ellis: rub it on your fucking nipples son
Ben Templesmith: My gods, he actually did. Warren Ellis sent me some FELL pages. Printing out & rubbing them on my nipples right away. Who is excited? I’m fuckin’ excited!
‘Tis the season for reboots, it seems — and Marvel’s blind protector of Hell’s Kitchen is next on the list.
According to Deadline Hollywood, a new “Daredevil” movie is in the works, written by “The Day The Earth Stood Still” screenwriter David Scarpa. The film will be produced by former News Corp President Peter Chernin.
While there’s been no official word on the reboot thus far, rumors regarding a “Daredevil” reboot surfaced back in March 2009 and have been the subject of much online speculation. 20th Century Fox currently owns the rights to the character, but stands to lose the rights if the property remains idle for too long.
Okay everyone. Time for a news update of what all has been going on.

Titanium Rain Delayed due to Chinese Objection to Content:
For those of you who may not know, Titanium Rain follows a squadron of American fighter pilots and their roll during a civil war in China. The Americans (and other countries) have sided with the Sino Union against an ultra nationalist faction known as the Jades. Set in an alternate 2032, Titanium Rain has been compared to Ghost in the Shell: SAC, the new Battle Star Galactica, and Generation Kill. You can find out more on the official website at TitaniumRain.net
Well, I have some bitter-sweet news for fans of Titanium Rain. The release of Vol. 1 Hard Cover has sadly been pushed back. The cause – well, in short, China doesn’t like our book. Seriously. It was sent to three different printers in mainland China and all of them refused to print it due to content. We’re pretty sure it has something to do with the news flashes in Ch.4 and the views on ultra-nationalism. But, our publisher found a printer in Hong Kong and I will have a release schedule for you very soon.
Keep a look out for the official press release coming soon.
And don’t forget to preorder the book through Amazon.com at just a little over $13.

Some important news regarding Riese has been posted on the Official Blog:
As the new year rolls around, we’ve had a lot of developments with the show that we’ve been itching to tell you about. First of all, as you’ve already seen, Chapter 2’s episodes are new and improved, with higher production values, exciting story and some really amazing cast additions. Also, we’re nearly finished with the development of our iPhone game tie-in. Without giving too many details away, I think you’ll all be really excited.
We also recently partnered with Fireworks, a digital distribution branch of ContentFilm, based out of the UK. They’re largely responsible for the transition of the webseries Valemont from internet to television, and they handle a number of many other well-known webseries as well.
What does this mean for Riese? It opens up a number of opportunities. For one, it increases the chances that we can keep making this show and letting you become further involved in the world of Riese. Additionally, it boosts the possibility of us being able to distribute the series on other platforms (episode downloads, DVDs, and television).
